New England Sweetwater Farm & Distillery (NESW) is a BLACK family owned and operated business founded in 2015 by Robert Patton-Spruill, who spent many childhood summers visiting his grandfather learning the craft of distilling and more importantly that quality was better than quantity.
In 2020, sisters, Alisa Lawrence and Nilaja Young along with their respective spouses, Karl Lawrence & Kenny Young, purchased NESW from their cousin Robert. Thus, continuing to build a family legacy for the next generation of business owners and distillers.
