Born and raised in the Hartford/Windsor CT area, this Ethnic GEM was built for his current passion.  June shared with me that he was a “huge fan of Michael Jackson and New Edition growing up and created a singing group with childhood friends to live out our dreams of being on stage like Michael Jackson and New Edition.”

We talked about influencers and mentors who have been part of his journey and June points out “there are so many mentors that I can’t mention because at every turn along your journey you will find a mentor or what I like to view them as, road signs. If I had to mention a few, they would be the amazing and legendary Music Executive Sylvia Rhone, my uncle Jerry Long, my friend Jimmy McMikle, John Motley, Darrell Decker, Delroy Thomas, my mentee Brandon McGee, Jr and my cousin Julian Alexander.”

In addition to being called on to be a Keynote Speaker & Lecturer, June has been asked and has accepted positions as a Board of Directors for the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, The Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center, The Greater Hartford Arts Council, Board of Council for “Wellness U” The Mental Health App as well his organization The June Archer School of Arts and The June Archer Foundation.
